This report uses NOAA Storm Database data to study the types of extreme weather events that are most harmful with repsect to population health, and which types of events have the greatest economic consequences. Tornadoes, tsunami wind and hail are simultaneously the most dangerous for population health and induces the highest total economic damage per event.
