Examining the spatial structure of traffic accidents occured in Warsaw in 2024

This project applies spatial point pattern analysis to study the geography of banking infrastructure in Warsaw — specifically, whether Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Physical Bank Branches follow different spatial logics across the city. Using methods from the spatstat package (Baddeley, Rubak & Turner, 2015), we analyse first- and second-order properties of both point patterns, test formal hypotheses about clustering and segregation, and estimate point process models to quantify the effect of proximity to the city centre.
