The interactive map highlights where production strongly exceeds consumption and where states remain heavily dependent on incoming supply. These patterns helped me understand the regional imbalances shaping today’s energy security challenges.

Funding Fairness and Academic Outcomes: An Analysis of Texas District Spending and STAAR Performance
This report analyzes how district spending, teacher experience, and economic disadvantage relate to STAAR performance across Texas school districts. Using correlations and a linear regression model, the study shows that poverty is the strongest predictor of outcomes, while instructional spending and teacher experience contribute positively. The model explains about half of the variation in district performance.
