Automated economic data and charts with descriptions

The following is an interactive map showing how many bike theft incidents were reported in Vancouver in 2021 based on Vancouver Police Department data. Points are visualized as a theft event, marker clustering is used to reduce visual clutter, so people can spot places where incidents have a higher share of crimes. Popups also provide some context for each theft, including the immediate neighborhood, block address, date, and time itself, helping reveal both citywide patterns and localized hotspots.
