This assignment for Advanced Statistical Learning, taught by Dr. Min Wang at UTSA, analyzes two data sets: wages of male workers in the Mid-Atlantic region and college statistics from U.S. News & World Report. The analysis focuses on modeling and visualizing complex relationships using polynomial regression, step functions, splines, and generalized additive models (GAMs).
