Examining the ACLED Top-20 Most Conflict-affected nations' proportionality of mountain-based violent events. Based on spatial extraction of ACLED conflict data from 2020-2024. Countries with disproportionately "high", "very high", and "extremely high" levels of mountain conflicts, display trends of mountain warfare beyond relative frequency of mountains occurring in their respective countries.

A searchable data table that shows the percentage of mountainous violent events relative to the total number of events perpetrated by each independent actor. Highlights which actors were most involved in mountain warfare between 2020 and 2024.
