stratifyR 2.0: A Major Update for Optimal Survey Stratification
stratifyR 2.0 is a major CRAN update for optimal survey stratification on a single continuous variable. This post walks through what it does: finding the best stratum boundaries and sample sizes, three solvers to choose from, cost-aware allocation, design-efficiency comparisons, the plots, and a no-code Shiny app.
FitVerse: A New R Package for Parametric Distribution Fitting
FitVerse is an R package for fitting parametric probability distributions to continuous data. It covers 52 distribution families, supports three estimation methods (MLE, MOM, and L-Moments), and ranks all results automatically by AIC, BIC, and goodness-of-fit tests. It also includes an interactive Shiny app, bootstrap confidence intervals, return level estimation, batch fitting, and HTML/PDF report generation. Available on CRAN.
