This report explores Melbourne's on-street parking patterns using 42.67 million parking sensor records from 2019. Through interactive R visualisations, it examines how recorded parking violation rates vary across different parking areas, months and hours of arrival. The analysis aims to identify patterns in parking activity and recorded violations, providing insights into how parking behaviour differs by location and time. The report uses R, DuckDB and Plotly for data processing, analysis and interactive visualisation.
