Final Project for CUNY MSDA Recommender Systems Cource

For my final project in IS 607 (Data Acquisition and Management), I explored the relationship between state education spending and 8th grade basic math proficiency.

Using 3 classification models to predict whether or not emails are spam or not.

I'm tasked with taking a structured but untidy dataset and making it "tidy." I primarily make use of the tidyr and dplyr functions.

The goal of this project is to take a text file that contains the results from a chess tournament, parse through the file, extract relevant data, add structure, and produce a .csv file. The .csv file will contain the following variables: * Player’s Name * Player’s State * Total Number of Points * Player’s Pre-Rating * Average Pre Chess Rating of Opponents
