This document contains an exploratory analysis of text corpora to be used in a next word prediction algorithm.

In this document, I’ll analyze the influence of severe weather events on public health and economics. I’ll use data from U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) storm database. The goal of this research is to find out which weather events cause the most public health and economic problems for communities and municipalities. The analysis shows that tornado is the most dangerous weather event for public health, and flood and drought are the most dangerous for property and crops respectively.
