This report analyzes the NOAA Storm Database from 1950 to 2011 to identify which weather event types are most harmful to population health and which have the greatest economic consequences. The data is processed in R, and findings are presented with supporting code and plots. Results aim to inform preparedness and resource allocation decisions.
