This presentation summarizes the development of a predictive text Shiny app created for the Coursera Data Science Capstone project. The app uses n-gram models built from the SwiftKey corpus to predict the next word based on user input. The algorithm applies a simple backoff strategy, and the interface is implemented using R Shiny.

This report presents the initial exploratory data analysis of the SwiftKey text corpora. It includes word and line counts, distributions, and a plan for building an n-gram prediction algorithm and deploying it via a Shiny app.
